Integrated CBT for Impostor Syndrome

Knowing you suffer from Impostor Syndrome (IS) is one thing, deciding whether you want to change it, let alone knowing how to do it is more challenging. The irony is that psychologists for decades have focused on undertsanding and raising awareness of IS but have done little to provide support and help in changing it-despite the existance of powerful strategies already proven to successfully address its underlying mechanisms.

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” Eleanor Roosevelt

“In any given moment, we have two options: To step forward into growth or to step back into safety.”

Abraham Maslow

"Impostor Syndrome starts with a combination of background, gender and job role but is maintained by procrastination, over-preparation and discounting success. This doesnt mean its easy to overcome but we already know a lot about how to tackle these from other fields "

Paul Grantham

Paul's help and guidance both in training and supervision has been invaluable. The training's been the best in my career and I don't say that lightly

I can't emphasise enough how nicely created the courses are by Prof Grantham. I dont like to miss any of his words so I study his recordings again and again to catch all the essence. At times Ive been mesmerised by the breadth of his knowledge

What can I say. I love your type of therapy. Your idea that you can't move forward if you hold onto your past has been a real eye opener and I can already see that strategy you taught me working already. You won't believe this but Im already less preoccupied with that trauma with my father. Thank you.
